Kuala Lumpur has 10 areas you need to know about it if you are visiting the city, each area will reflect something to you and tell you about their people, for me each place has a unique enigma need to be understand, but today we just tell you about it.
First of all we will start telling you about titiwangsa, and it well known by Titiwangsa park or lake garden of titiwangsa. The area is an elite place, most the surrounding are luxury bungalows, and most people of city like to visit the lake of titiwangsa to get their mind free and enjoy the view of Kuala Lumpur city, some comes for exercise and many activities.
2- Chow Kit
We can say the oldest area in Kuala Lumpur city and still undeveloped, Chow Kit has two sides, the notorious side, and the sleazy side. The labyrinth buildings with the shady activities made it as seedy, and the other side, it has the largest wet market in the middle of the city and home for whole sale shops.
3- Merdeka Square
I don’t have much words on Merdeka Square or Dataran Merdeka as the locals called it, what can I say at Merdeka Square is the place where Tungku Abdul Rahman – the first Prime Minister announced the Independence for Malaysia from the British Colony in 31st August 1957.
KLCC is the short form for Kuala Lumpur City Center, the famous landmark in the city, with the icon of Malaysia the twin towers of Petronas makes the city very attractive. The locals and the tourist like to hangout here, because the park, many places to eat, and the train station.
5- Kampung Baru
Kampung Baru is a city village with lots of delicious tradition foods in Middletown of Kuala Lumpur City. You need to visit it.
6- Golden Triangle
This area are large area that encompasses a number of major streets in the city of Kuala Lumpur. Three roads – Jalan Imbi, Jalan Sultan Ismail and Jalan Raja Chulan form a triangle which borders the entire Golden Triangle area. Bukit bintang and Kuala Lumpur’s tower are major attractions at golden triangle territory.
The famous place in Kuala Lumpur City since the tourist start coming to Malaysia, if you want to find a good bargain here is best place to you, but most of the product are copied from original but grade A copy.
8- Masjid India
Jalan masjid India in Kuala Lumpur City is shopping market like Chinatown, but this is for Muslim community in Malaysia. you can find rows of stalls selling a wide array of souvenirs, bags, accessories, toys and authentic Indian clothing, food items and costume jewellery there.
9- Lake garden
This is most beautiful place you need to visit in Kuala Lumpur City, the lack garden is extending over 92 hectares of land, and also is is home to the Perdana Botanical Garden, a sprawling park with tree-lined walking trails, orchid and hibiscus displays, as well as a planetarium.
Brickfields is located Western flunk central Kuala Lumpur City, and well known as little India. a colorful maze of textile shops and jewelry stores, plus low-key restaurants serving dosa pancakes and banana-leaf curries.
