Bak kut teh, or pork ribs soup, is a popular Chinese dish in Malaysia. From the name you will know this non-Halal food. It cooked in broth infused with herbs such as Dong Quai, cinnamon, star anise, and made with pork ribs, dried Shitake mushrooms, tofu puffs and garlic.
Bak kut teh popularly served in Malaysia and Singapore where there is a predominant Hoklo and teochew community. It served as a breakfast dish.
