What we can say about this unique building is not much, just a stunning skyscraper. Dayabumi Complex is a 35-storey building set along Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, south of Merdeka Square. The building is a major landmark in Kuala Lumpur city.
Dayabumi Complex was the first modern building in KL to incorporate principles of Islamic design into its architecture. It built in 1970, and was taken over by the KLCC Properties Holdings Berhad in 2005. it was built to resemble a mosque.
Designed by Malay architect Nik Mohammed, it used to house the headquarters of the national oil company PETRONAS, until they moved to the world famous PETROAS Twin Towers.
