The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia its wide-ranging collection of Islamic art in open gallery floors. The Museum is one of the best museums in Malaysia with over 7000 top quality artefacts from all over the Islamic world.
The Islamic Arts Museum located in Kuala Lumpur city, serves as an ambassador of Islamic Arts in Southeast Asia. It opened its doors in 1998, and is home to a vast collection of Islamic arts and artifacts, beautifully curated in its 12 permanent galleries.
The art objects on display range from the tiniest pieces of jewelry to one of the world’s largest scale models of the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. The aim is to create a collection that is truly representative of the Islamic world.
