Langkawi the fascinated Island in northern Kedah state is aiming to reopen for tourists who have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.  

Langkawi is expected to allow visitors from September as Kedah state pushes to have 80% of the islands’ population vaccinated. 

The report came on July 2nd at that Kedah Menteri Besar (MB) Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said “Tourists who want to enter Langkawi need to complete two doses of vaccine and those who are not vaccinated or have only received one dose, are not allowed to vacation in Langkawi,”. 

He add also that 80% of Langkawi’s population needs to be vaccinated against COVID-19 before the expected arrival of tourists in September.
