In a report at Travel Daily News digital portal in 10th August state Malaysia joins the Hybrid City Alliance a multi-hub concept for hybrid meets.
Putrajaya, Malaysia – Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) plans to strengthen its position as a knowledge capital by getting Malaysia through four cities (Kuala Lumpur, Penang (Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau), Kuching (Sarawak Convention Bureau) and Kota Kinabalu (Sabah Tourism Board) to join the Hybrid City Alliance – a grouping which offers international event organizers solutions when organizing multiple city hub events.
The Hybrid City Alliance was launched in December of 2020 by the Hague Convention Bureau, Ottawa Tourism Business Events, Prague Convention Bureau, and Geneva Convention Bureau. The purpose of joining the alliance is to be part of the global community in supporting event organizers that need hybrid connections for the advancement of knowledge and community development.
By becoming a member of the Hybrid City Alliance, Malaysia seeks to promote its appeal in the area of business events and introduce local business events industry players to more international opportunities.
