There are conflicts about the founder of Kuala Lumpur, when we were searching of the history of Kuala Lumpur, we found a confusion of the founder, as we read at Visit KL official website there are a brief information about the history, but they mentioned the Raja Abdullah found it together with Raja Jumaat of Lukut and 87 Chinese workers, they were travelling for searching for tin ore.
Raja Abdullah was a member of the Selangor Royal family, and he was sent by the Yam Tuan who administered Klang in 1857, there was no information about Raja Abdullah but we found about Yap Ah Loy, there was three articles about him telling the story about Yap Al Loy who came to Malaysia during 1860.
The first article was published on 27th April 2017 at Malay Mail Online, the second was in the same date but published on Malaysia Today site, and the third article was published on 5th May 2017 on the Star online.
The History is already confirming that Yap Ah Loy is the founder of Kuala Lumpur, because after the civil war in 1885 Yap Ah Loy immediately rebuilding the town by setting up accommodation for employees, hospitals, schools a temple and a market, and also according to all historians worth their salt will admit that Yap Ah Loy was primarily responsible for transforming Kuala Lumpur from a mining village into a leading commercial and mining centre after it was largely destroyed during the Selangor Civil War (1867-1873).
